In this week’s Newsletter:
Spring Concert Tickets: On Sale Now!
Tickets for our Spring Concert on 28th March 2015 will be on sale from Monday 23rd February.
You can buy tickets:
Concert Poster: Let’s Get it Out There
We urge choir members to print out copies of the poster. There are two attached copies, one as the A4 size and another with the poster as a set of A6 size. The A6 ones are useful for handing out to friends, colleagues etc
There will be some printed copies of the posters at the choir practices for those who cannot do any printing.
Scratch Messiah 2015
As last year we are looking to organise tickets for this year’s Messiah from Scratch at the Royal Albert Hall. However, before committing ourselves, we would like to have an idea of how many people will be involved either to sing or as part of the audience.
To this end we will be asking those wishing to participate to add their names to a list which will be on display beside the registers for one more week. Alternatively you can email email@example.com to let us know that you would like your name added to the list.
As yet The Really Big Chorus Company have still to confirm the date but it is expected to be Sunday, 29th November. Last year tickets for the stalls/arena cost £35, which was a slight increase on the previous year. If we are to go ahead with the booking we will be asking for an initial deposit of £35 before the middle of March.
If you have not yet taken part in this, it’s a great experience; and with plenty of help and support from fellow singers, not as daunting as you might think! If you would like to find out more about it, please do not hesitate to speak to us.

What’s the Natter?
The next NES Knit ‘n’ Natter club get together is on Thursday 19 February, 19.30 at Marian Gouman’s house. Let her know at choir if you’re interested in coming along.
We have one more raffle to go this month, which is the 9th March. Thanks to everyone who has contributed so far.
NES is always on the lookout for new charities to support. We prefer our charities to be local to our community. This includes the community that you as a member live in – not just Egham and Staines. And they must be non-denominational and non-political. If you have a charity that you would like put forward for consideration, please contact our chairman, David Evans, at rehearsal.
To submit an item to the NES weekly newsletter, please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org with your article no later than Wednesday evening. Please include a contact e-mail address which can be included in your posting. If you would like your item repeated, please let the secretary know on a weekly basis. Only items directly related to EDCS can be published. Other notices can be posted on our notice board which is displayed every week at rehearsal.
